PM to Continue Meeting Flood Victims in Prey Veng on 30 October

PURSAT: Prime Minister Hun Sen has said that he will be visiting the province of Prey Veng on 30 October.

The Prime Minister will be visiting to meet the people who have been affected by the recent floods and to provide them with some aid. Prime Minister Hun Sen is travelling to provinces around the Tonle Sap Lake until 26 October, and he will resume his trips once more on 29 October.

On Tuesday morning, 25 October, the Prime Minister outlined his upcoming schedule on his Facebook page, writing, “This morning, after meeting the people of Pursat province, I had to go out for lunch in Kampong Chhnang province. After finishing work in Kampong Chhnang province on the 26th, I have to return to Phnom Penh to inevitably lead the necessary work, [which is] the Cabinet meeting to pass the budget law for 2023. On 29 October, I have to go to Kampong Thom province and on 30 October, I have to go to Prey Veng province. ”

Since last weekend, the Prime Minister has been spending a lot of his time directly meeting with flood victims and the government officials of different provinces.

The provinces the Prime Minister has recently visited are Siem Reap, Banteay Meanchey, Battambang, and Pursat.
